Understanding Galaxy S25 Edge charging

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge reaches 25W only when the charger, the cable and the phone agree on the same fast-charging standard. An old USB-A cube or a cheap gas-station charger falls back to about 5W, which can make a full charge take three hours or more.

Samsung phones charge in fixed steps: about 15W on a regular USB-C PD charger, 25W on a PPS charger.

Test your charging
