About MxMob

MxMob is an independent mobile phone specification database. It exists to answer a narrow set of questions well: what exactly is in this phone, how does it compare to that one, and which of the differences actually matter.

What we do

We maintain a structured record for every device we cover — up to 150 specification fields, compiled from manufacturer documentation and official announcements, with the sources listed on the page. On top of that data we publish original analysis: what the hardware means in practice, where the compromises are, and how a device stands against its direct rivals.

Because every record uses the same fields, labels and units, comparisons between any two devices are genuinely like-for-like rather than approximate.

What we believe

• A blank is better than a guess. If no source states a figure, we leave it empty. Completeness is not worth inventing numbers for.
• Show your working. Every device page lists the sources it was built from, so you can check us.
• Not every difference has a winner. Our comparisons score measurable specifications and explicitly decline to score the ones that come down to preference.
• Speed is a feature. A spec sheet you are waiting to load is a spec sheet you are not reading. Pages here are served from the edge with almost no client-side JavaScript.
• Say how the work is done. We use automated tooling to research and compile records, and we say so — seehow we source data.

How we are funded

Advertising, and nothing else. We do not take payment for coverage, ratings or placement, and advertisers have no sight of or influence over editorial content. Oureditorial policy sets out the boundaries in detail.

MxMob is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any device manufacturer. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners.
