MxMob is a comprehensive suite of hardware diagnostic tools and accessory compatibility checkers that run entirely in your web browser. Whether you are checking a used phone before buying, troubleshooting a faulty speaker, or trying to find out what maximum charging speed your phone supports, MxMob has a tool for it.

Are these tests accurate?
Yes, our tests utilize native browser APIs (such as the Web Audio API, MediaDevices API, and Sensor APIs) to interact directly with your device's hardware. While software cannot physically repair broken hardware, it accurately reports what the hardware is currently capable of outputting or sensing.
Do I need to download an app?
No. MxMob is a Progressive Web App (PWA). All tools run entirely within your modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). There is nothing to install, keeping your device safe and storage free.
Is my data sent to your servers?
No. All diagnostic tests are performed locally on your device. When you test your camera, microphone, or location, that data is processed on your phone and never uploaded to our servers. We prioritize your privacy.
Why does the camera test ask for permissions?
To test your camera or microphone, the browser needs your explicit permission to access the hardware. You can revoke this permission at any time in your browser settings once the test is complete.
Does the water eject tool actually work?
Yes, the water eject tool plays a specific low-frequency tone (usually around 165Hz) that causes the speaker membrane to vibrate intensely. This mechanical movement forces trapped water out of the speaker grille, similar to the feature built into modern smartwatches.
