What is my used phone worth?
Pick the model and its condition for a fair price range, whether you are buying or selling. Covers every iPhone from the 11 to the 16, Galaxy S21 to S24 and Pixel 6 to 9.
How the estimate works
Each phone starts from its US launch price for the base storage. Phones lose value fastest in the first year and then more slowly; iPhones keep their value best, Samsung Galaxy phones a little less and Pixels least, so each brand has its own curve. The age is counted in months from the release date to today, so the price drifts down as the phone gets older.
Then condition and battery health adjust it: a cracked screen or a part that doesn’t work roughly halves the price, a battery under 80% takes off about what a new battery costs, and a carrier lock knocks off around 15% because fewer buyers can use the phone. The range shown is ±12% around the result, which covers the usual spread between a quick sale and a patient one.
Prices outside the US
Treat the dollar figure as a guide. Where phones carry import duty, such as Pakistan, India, Brazil and Turkey, used prices are often higher than the converted US price, and in Pakistan a phone without PTA approval sells for much less than an approved one. Compare with listings on your local marketplace; our country guides list the main ones.

FAQ
How accurate is this estimate?
It is a model, not live market data: the launch price multiplied by how much phones of that brand typically keep after a given number of years, adjusted for condition. Real prices vary by country, storage, colour and how fast the seller wants to sell. Use it as a starting point, then compare with listings near you.
Why are prices in US dollars?
Launch prices and resale patterns are most consistent in the US. In Pakistan, India and other markets with import duties, used phones often sell for more than the US figure converted: in Pakistan a PTA-approved phone is worth far more than a non-approved one.
How do I get a better price when selling?
Buyers pay more when they can see proof. Run the free test at mxmob.com/check and share the report, show the battery health screen, and include the box and receipt.
